To ensure our services continue to meet demand, YMCAs in Wales are pleased to be working in partnership with event organisers Cardiff YMCA Housing Association and Land Securities Group Plc. (owners of St Davids 2) to host our very first Sleep Easy event in Wales.

We are looking for volunteers to spend a night outside to highlight the issue of homelessness and raise funds to support our work. Sleep Easy is a national YMCA fundraising event, where people sleep rough so others don't have to. Participants are asked to brave the cold, sleep in a cardboard box for one night and get sponsored for their efforts - so please, dust off your sleeping bags and come and join us. It should be a challenging and eye opening experience.

A £10 registration fee covers entry into the event, cardboard to build your own shelter, hot drinks and breakfast! There will also be a prize for the Best Shelter and the Biggest Fundraiser!

Please enclose a copy of your sponsor form and specify which YMCA your donation or sponsorship is supporting. A record of every penny raised will be available on the 30th March 2012, and a prize will be awarded to the person or organisation that raises the most money.

You don't have to sleep rough to get involved!
