International
YMCA Wales is committed to providing international opportunities for children and young people. Last year we established links with YMCA's in East Jerusalem and Armenia.
Our study visit to East Jerusalem YMCA has encouraged us to show solidarity with our colleagues in the Occupied Territories and this summer we will be supporting a youth worker and two young people to volunteer in Beit Sahour YMCA in the West Bank.
We are also planning to participate in a youth work training programme in Austria, for volunteers in outdoor education. This will take place in July and if anyone would like to take part contact the office for additional information.
Any young person or youth worker interested in international programmes or requiring assistance in developing an international programme and financial support should contact the national office.
